MG Properties is honored to make an impact and live out the company’s mission of enriching lives through better communities through corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.
As a two-time award winner of the Southern California Apartment Association’s Good Neighbor Award, MG Properties puts forth a culture of going above and beyond in community and upholding company core values. Employees across the country are encouraged to volunteer with their teammates to benefit MG’s charitable focus areas through company-sponsored community service days.
MG team members also serve on the MG Gives Back philanthropy committee, and work towards building awareness of MG’s philanthropic areas of focus of supporting foster youths, those affected by food insecurity, and the unsheltered.

Philanthropy Committee
Select team members serve on the MG Gives Back philanthropy committee, working towards building awareness of MG’s philanthropic areas of focus.
Supporting Foster Youth
Since 2015, our teams have volunteered in each region for local programs, provided workplace internships, and made financial contributions through a combination of direct appeals and fundraising events. In addition to raising funds for foster care youth, a committed group of MG Properties employees volunteer as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), and work closely with their assigned case children, including accompanying them to court appointments and pertinent school meetings, during “volunteer time off” hours provided by the company. MG Properties employees work together to achieve positive outcomes for these at risk youths, enabling them to have greater achievement in their lives.
Reducing Food Insecurity & Assisting the Unsheltered
Each of our apartment communities, as well as our corporate office, participates in aiding the hungry and unsheltered members of our local communities. From partnering with nationwide programs like Move For Hunger, a non-profit organization that has created a sustainable way to reduce food waste and fight hunger, to volunteering and donating to local food banks and various regional drives, it is imperative for our teams to give back to these causes and enrich lives through better communities.
The MG Gives Back philanthropy committee inspires team members to feel empowered to create meaningful actions and make a tangible difference in the communities we serve. We're proud to make an impact and live out the company’s mission of enriching lives through better communities through our corporate social responsibility efforts and implementing our core values. With gratitude to Founder and CEO Mark Gleiberman, for setting an example of servant leadership, MG Properties is proud to support human services areas of focus.
