Mark Gleiberman
Mark founded MG Properties in 1992, and has since overseen the acquisition, development, and management of over $7 billion in apartment communities. As CEO, he guides the growth of MG Properties, raises money for new investment partnerships, and oversees the renovation, lease-up, and property management of the company's portfolio of value-add communities. Mark serves on the executive board of the USD Burnham Moores Real Estate School, is a member of the National Multi-Housing Council Board of Directors and UCSD Real Estate and Development Advisory Board and has presented at numerous industry events. A member of the UC San Diego Foundation Board of Trustees, Mark is personally committed to MG Properties’ mission and serves on numerous charitable boards, receiving awards and recognition for his commitment to philanthropic endeavors. He graduated with a degree in business from Drexel University in 1979, became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 1981, and a California licensed Real Estate Broker in 1990.
Jeff Gleiberman
Jeff is President of MG Properties, and is responsible for overseeing investment transactions, operational strategies, and partner relations for the company. Prior to his current role, Jeff was Managing Director of MG, where he was responsible for corporate equity and debt strategies, as well as an Acquisition Manager, sourcing and underwriting new investment opportunities. Jeff has also served in asset management, regional management, and onsite property management roles. Jeff worked in apartment investment sales at CBRE, before joining MG Properties, where he oversaw the sale of over $500 million in Southern California multifamily properties. Jeff has a business degree, with an emphasis in finance and management, from the University of Southern California. He later earned a Master of Science degree in real estate from the USD Burnham Moores School of Real Estate. Jeff holds a California Real Estate Broker license.
Patricia Carsello Gray
Patti oversees the strategic direction of MG Properties, with Operations, Property Management, Construction, Asset Management and Human Resources reporting directly to her. As COO, she is integral to all corporate and operational strategies, policies, and procedures. Patti joined MG Properties in May 2005 and has an extended history of operations and asset management experience in the multifamily housing industry. Prior to MG Properties, Patti spent six years as a Senior Regional Manager for Equity Residential, and ten years working in various property and asset management capacities – including President of the Management Division for a privately held property management organization in Santa Barbara. Patti is a Certified Property Manager with the Institute of Real Estate Management and received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Paul Kaseburg
Paul leads the investments team, managing acquisition, disposition, and capital markets activities at MG Properties. Since joining the company in 2010, he has been involved with purchasing over $7 billion in apartment communities totaling 35,000 units. Paul has two decades of experience in real estate private equity investment, capital markets, and corporate M&A. Prior to joining MG Properties, he held various roles in commercial real estate debt and equity acquisitions, development, and financing, and worked in corporate M&A and VC investing at Northrop Grumman (NOC). Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Joseph C. Anfuso
Joe is responsible for the financial and fiscal management of company operations, including budgeting, treasury, tax, accounting, information technology, risk management, and insurance. Prior to joining MG Properties in 2015, Joe was previously CFO and Director of Development with ColRich, COO/CFO of Florsheim Homes, and CFO of Shea Homes San Diego, and worked for the international firm Deloitte & Touche. Joe earned his BBA in Accounting and MBA from the University of San Diego and is a Certified Public Accountant in addition to possessing a California Real Estate Brokers and General Contractors License. Joe is an adjunct professor of Real Estate Finance at the University of San Diego and a member of Residential Real Estate Committee for Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at USD. Recognized as an industry expert, he has been a frequent contributor on CNBC television and industry-leading podcasts and panel discussions, offering insights on housing and real estate.
Chris Hagen
Chris is responsible for MG Properties’ multifamily portfolio and oversees the leadership operations of the on-site teams as well as the corporate operations departments and support services. Prior to joining MG Properties in 2018, Chris served in public and private real estate management roles for over 30 years. His leadership includes experience in the hotel and restaurant industry, as well as corporate and conventional housing, acquisitions and dispositions, and luxury resort community management. He has overseen a portfolio of more than 30,000 units valued at over $10 billion throughout Southern California. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin.
Lane Jorgensen
Lane brings a vast array of knowledge to his role, responsible for the integration of property acquisition debt and equity, directing dispositions, and leading the company’s commitment to its investors through excellence in investment management. By applying investment performance analysis to strategic investment decisions across the company’s owned portfolio, Lane adds to his decades of multifamily real estate investment experience representing over $6 billion in multifamily investment and financing transactions as a leading member of the investments team at MG Properties, as well as multifamily investment brokerage teams at CB Richard Ellis. Lane completed the Real Estate Management: Finance, Design and Leadership executive education course at Harvard Business School. He is a Beta Gamma Sigma graduate of the Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City with an MBA in Finance. He holds a bachelor's degree with Phi Beta Kappa honors in Geography from the University of Kansas.
Troy Lane
Troy oversees MG Properties’ asset management department, with responsibilities for the business and operational strategies of the firm’s growing multifamily investment portfolio. Troy manages the analysis of new acquisitions, budgeting, and monitoring of portfolio performance with a focus on maximizing revenue through oversight of pricing, ancillary income programs, and implementation of efficient systems and processes. Prior to joining MG Properties in 2016, Troy served as a Senior Asset Manager with ColRich and as an Asset Manager and Acquisition Officer with ConAm. Troy holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, where he competed on the Anteater men’s basketball team.
Idalith Santiago
Idalith serves as the leader of human resources, responsible for leading the overall human resources strategy across the organization, ensuring that all programs and initiatives are integrated and effective to support current as well as future employees. Idalith has experience managing different aspects of human resources ranging from human capital, compensation, benefits administration, employee safety, and managing organizational change process. Prior to joining MG Properties in 2019, she excelled with her hospitality experience and has unparalleled human resources expertise, including the oversight of an InterContinental San Diego luxury hotel. Idalith received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and holds a Human Resources Certification from University of California, San Diego.
Chase Ballard
Chase oversees the Construction Management department and is responsible for all capital improvements, deferred maintenance, asset preservation, and value-add projects across MG Properties’ portfolio. With over 20 years of project management experience, most of them specifically focused on multifamily, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, which includes more than 10,000 successful unit interior renovations and over $100 million dollars of exterior and common area capital projects across 12 different states. Prior to joining MG Properties, Chase served as Vice President of Construction for Cityview and Director of Capital Projects for Greystar. He is a licensed General Contractor, holds multiple industry certifications, and studied Construction Project Management at San Diego State University.
Kavita Agarwal
Kavita joined MG Properties in 2005 as Executive Assistant to Founder & CEO, Mark Gleiberman. Kavita currently works with President, Jeff Gleiberman to manage investor communications and has administrative oversight of MG Properties’ 2,000 investors. Kavita has over 22 years of experience in real estate. Prior to joining MG Properties, Kavita worked in a retail leasing brokerage firm in San Francisco. Kavita holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from Mt. Carmel College in India.
